As an Assistant Miller, you will oversee the cleaning house side of the mill, support the shift miller, and ensure wheat and flour meet specifications while following Food Safety Policies, GMPs, sanitation and IPM tasks.

Key Responsibilities- Run specific phases of milling and wheat cleaning operations as assigned, including sanitation duties.
- Assist in preventive checks and mill repair.
- Follow schedule and specifications for wheat blending and provide feedback.
- Perform product testing and monitoring through milling and cleaning processes.
- Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with policies for a safe, food‑safe work environment.
- Maintain all tools/equipment and execute 5S, Pristine AMPS standards using process tools such as Centerline and 5

- Communicate effectively with management, team members, and customers.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an industrial environment (milling, agricultural, food production, or equivalent).
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new programs.
- 2+ years experience in an industrial environment.
- Demonstrated mechanical understanding and intermediate troubleshooting ability.
- Understanding of safety behaviors within production environment.
- Mill production experience.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Work a machine‑paced continuous process operating 24/7.
- Hot/Cold temperatures, dusty environment (Wheat/Gluten allergens), frequent moving/vibration, elevated places.
- Stand, walk, rotate, bend, twist, crouch, kneel, balance, reach, lift at varying heights and levels; climb stairs and ladders; push and pull; work in confined or elevated places.
- Read, interpret instruction and technology and communicate effectively in English.
- Willing to work long days, rotating shifts, overtime, weekend or holiday work.
- Willingness for training and development in Milling Practices and Programs and other department operations.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
- Successful passing of a drug test and pre‑employment background check required. >
