REPORTS TO:
General Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Leader
The cashier position is critical to the daily success of the restaurant. It’s a guest-facing role; often the first touch point with the guest beyond the “Welcome to Firehouse” greeting.
Job Requirements:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent menu and product knowledge.
- Responsible for the accuracy of the guest’s order.
- Effective communication with guests and handling questions and concerns professionally.
- Proficient in using the POS system.
- Maintain accuracy of the cash drawer.
- Team player attitude.
- Sincerely thank guests for their business.
- Participate in all Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
- Keep an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
- Willing to perform other restaurant duties such as food prep or cleaning as directed by management.
- Maintain a safe work environment, following all food safety and safety guidelines.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
