QC Coordinator​/Summer Student

Firma Concrete is seeking a motivated and detail oriented QC Coordinator/Summer Student to assist with quality control documentation, field inspections, project tracking, and general project support on concrete construction projects throughout the Edmonton area.

• Assist with quality control documentation and record keeping
• Complete and track inspection reports, checklists, and project records
• Support concrete testing documentation and coordinate results with project teams
• Assist with pre pour, during pour, and post pour inspections
• Maintain project filing systems and quality records
• Track deficiencies and assist with closeout documentation
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Managers, and subcontractors
• Assist with quantity tracking, progress reporting, and daily project documentation
• Support safety and quality initiatives on site
• Other project coordination duties as assigned

• Enrolled in or recently completed Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related program
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Construction experience is considered an asset
• Concrete construction knowledge is considered an asset
