Project Manager Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for providing overall project management on multidisciplinary commercial construction projects.

Include but are not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining exceptional relationships with clients and all stakeholders related to the project.
• Managing and coordinating the project design, budget and schedule.
• Working collaboratively with the project team to discuss progress, risks and solutions in order to meet scheduled dates.
• Providing strong leadership to team members to ensuring project targets are achieved.
• Maintaining, tracking, and reporting all financial aspects of the project including forecasts and billings.
• Leading and implementing the procurement process for subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
• Reinforcing Company Culture.

Include but are not limited to:

• A minimum of 10 years of institutional/commercial construction experience.
• A construction related degree/diploma is preferred.
• Experience with Procore and MS project is preferred.
• Knowledge of pull planning techniques is preferred.
• Must be willing to travel to sites and in some cases work from site office for the length of the project.
• Must have strong knowledge of scheduling, project management and cost controls.
• Must possess a valid and clean driver’s license.
• Must hold strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Must be highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities.
• Must have a proven ability to take initiative and be respectful of diversity.
