Registered Pharmacy Technician – Sherwood

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00-$35.00 Hourly

Pharmacy Hours

Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

About the Role Mint Health + Drugs is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic and growing team. In this key role, you'll support medication preparation and dispensing, ensure regulatory compliance, and work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Education & Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician program
  • Registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with ACP in good standing
  • Current CPR Certification valid in Alberta

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions
  • Conduct thorough medication reviews and assessments
  • Provide medication management and patient education
  • Maintain and document accurate patient records
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in managing pharmacy inventory
  • Experience with Kroll is an asset
  • Knowledge of all applicable legislation and regulatory compliance standards in Alberta
