Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse Needed

Aster Gardens, part of Optima Living, seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Deliver essential nursing care by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support our residents' needs.

In this role, you will report to the Director of Care and actively participate in enhancing the well-being of residents through comprehensive nursing care. Responsibilities include creating and adjusting care plans, documenting health updates, and administering necessary treatments. Your contributions will align with Optima Living’s commitment to respecting the dignity and individuality of every resident.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement resident care plans and document changes

• Directly administer medications and treatments

• Support caregivers and new team members through guidance

• Report equipment and clinical supply needs promptly

• Attend and contribute to care conferences

Requirements:

• Current license to practice nursing in Alberta

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program

• Minimum experience in a residential care environment is preferred

• Knowledge of infection control policies

• Flexibility in shifts and excellent organization skills
