Detention Guard

Position: Strathcona County Detention Guard Role

We are seeking guards for critical positions essential to maintaining safety and security. Candidates should have excellent organizational skills and be comfortable adapting to shifting situations. You will monitor detainee well-being and assist in processing prisoners accurately, all in adherence to RCMP policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process detainees upon arrival and maintain records

• Monitor prisoner safety and welfare at all times

• Maintain cleanliness of holding cell facilities

• Manage found property files following procedures

• Testify in court regarding detainee management when needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma with 3+ years of experience

• CPR and First Aid certification required

• Adaptability in emergency situations

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to pass security clearance and work shifts
