As a Community Disability Worker with the Robin Hood Association, you'll play a vital role in implementing individual service plans. Your primary responsibilities include providing direct care and fostering meaningful community participation for adults, youth, and children with developmental disabilities. You should demonstrate a commitment to ethical standards and be proactive in reporting safety hazards within the community and work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement individual service plans for clients
• Provide direct care as per scheduled shifts
• Assist individuals in personal goal setting
• Foster respectful community relationships
• Report safety hazards and attend to community needs
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Background in Community Rehabilitation and Disabilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Prior experience is an asset
