Special Educator

We are searching for a well-organized, qualified and committed candidate to join our excellent faculty as a Special Educator for the Academic Year 2025-26. He/ She will be involved in the implementation of the Inclusive Education Program by identifying and catering to the special needs of our learners.

Proven experience as a Special Educator with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an inclusive school setting.

Graduation in any stream with a certification in Special Education from a recognized university. Candidates with a Bachelor of Education in Special Education and/or a degree/certification in counseling psychology will be given preference.

Identifies the needs of students who require special care and assistance and develops Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) for every student.

Ability to counsel parents and teachers on the execution of the ILP.

Thorough knowledge on the diverse ways of catering to the needs of children with special needs.

Supervising and recording activities of students identified to have special needs

Makes assessments of their progress and discusses the student’s improvement with teachers and parents.

Promotes opportunities for all children to participate and be treated equally.

Highly intuitive to sense underlying issues behind a child’s behavior and be able to take necessary steps to address the issue.

An innate interest to involve in continuous professional development to be abreast with the latest developments in the field.

A team player who works in collaboration with the teachers in implementing an Inclusive System of Education.

Undertakes special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required
