Production Operator

Purpose

To support the manufacturing of PPG coatings by ensuring all products, materials, and goods are produced to the highest quality standards while maintaining efficiency and operational excellence.

• Manufacture products to the highest quality, adhering to PPG processes
• Advise on quality issues or shortages of materials to the Production Manager / Shift Managers
• Continuously improve all procedures in the work areas
• Clean and maintain all equipment in the line with 5S requirements as part of the working day
• Help maintain daily audit data as per requirements
• Adhere to and manage health and safety guidelines as determined by the Health and Safety Policy and any subsequent risk assessments
• Promote best health and safety within the team
• Carry out additional duties as may reasonably be required by the Production Manager / Shift Managers

• Ability to process manage Lean principles
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a fast‑paced, high‑achieving team
• Good organisational skills
