Job Description & How to Apply Below

Our weekly Digital Hub provides essential support to local residents who need help with CVs, online job searching, and building digital confidence. By volunteering, you will help people overcome barriers to employment, improve their digital independence, and feel more confident navigating online services.

Offering one‑to‑one or small‑group support within a friendly community setting. Assisting participants with creating and updating CVs, searching and applying for jobs online, setting up and using email accounts, using smartphones, tablets or laptops, completing online forms and accessing essential digital services. Explaining digital tasks patiently and clearly to beginners. Working alongside our team of staff and volunteers. Signposting participants to other services or support where appropriate.

Most of the people you’ll support will have low digital confidence, may be unemployed, or may have English as an additional language. A kind, supportive approach is key.
