Float Phlebotomist

As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. • Pay Range: $15.00 - $25.90 per hour
• Float Incentive:
  Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
• PST Incentive Plan: quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or prior experience as a phlebotomist is required
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and reliable transportation
• At least 21 years old
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  
  Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
