  • Days, evenings or nights may be required – PRN.
  • Must be able to work 36 hours in a 6‑week period.
  • Experience or schooling strongly preferred.
Job Overview

Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh are acute care hospitals offering comprehensive medical and surgical services, critical and emergency care, and specialized programs (e.g., pediatric emergency care, cardiac care, stroke care). Both facilities are accredited and Magnet®-recognized for nursing excellence.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Accredited Surgical Program training or comparable experience.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technician.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room for surgical patients, review preference cards to determine surgeon requirements, and obtain supplies and equipment.
  • Perform surgical scrub duties and assist with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.
  • Assist in turning over the room, ensuring supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to their proper locations.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • No prior supervisory experience required.
