Role Overview
Seeking a PRN Breast Sonographer (RDMS) to perform ultrasound imaging for diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent ultrasound exams, documenting procedures, and assisting with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages. The role may involve on-call, portable, and site-specific studies.
Qualifications & Skills
- RDMS or equivalent certification required
- Experience in breast sonography, ultrasound technology, or related fields preferred
- Ability to perform imaging independently
- Knowledge of equipment operation and documentation standards
- Perform breast ultrasound examinations on adult and pediatric patients
- Maintain equipment functionality and readiness
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures
- Assist with needle procedures and vascular imaging as needed
