Job Description
SAIC is seeking a Service Catalog Manager to support an IT Service Management and User-Centric effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command’s infrastructure, systems, and applications.
This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).
The successful candidate shall, as the Service Catalog Manager, synchronize efforts with the government IT Service Portfolio Manager, or equivalent, and produce customer‑based additional information for each defined service, map service delivery tasks, and coordinate with Service Owners and Managers, as appropriate, to deliver service offerings to customers.
Roles and Responsibilities- Define and maintain the Service Catalog utilizing government furnished technology.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of offerings within the Service Catalog.
- Support service management processes through coordination with other processes, alignment with business needs, and approved service level agreements.
- Provide a consistent approach to service offering administration through development and publishing of templates for service data recording.
- Align task actions for services that can be easily and efficiently developed to meet customer requirements and requests.
- Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders when a new or changed service is to be deployed to ensure service request and delivery actions are developed in the IT Service Management System of Record.
- Document required actions and tasks prior to service implementation ensuring coordination and approval with all required stakeholders is performed and the offering is appropriately scoped.
- Achieve an overall improvement in the quality of IT service within the imposed design constraints by reducing rework once the services have been transitioned into the live production environment.
- Schedule and document all required meetings and documentation for historical reference for all service offerings regardless of active, inactive, or retired status to support service offering administration, improvement, and business needs.
- BA/BS.
- 5+ years of experience.
- DoD Secret clearance.
- ITIL 4 Foundations certification.
- Experience with formal system development methodologies including Agile.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience with business process modeling.
- Experience eliciting and documenting service delivery requirements and workflows.
- Experience working with Service Now low-code/no-code capabilities and standards.
- Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Experience in business analysis activities including requirements management and analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- MA/MS.
- 10+ years of experience.
- DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- ITIL 4 Managing Professional certification.
- 4+ years of experience with Service Now Service Catalog administration.
- Completion of relevant Service Now training, accreditations, and certifications.
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
