System Administrator
Mission Multiplier is looking for a Systems Administrator at Scott Air Force Base, in Illinois. The selected candidate must have government security clearance, per contract requirements (Clearance Level: Secret). This role will be part of the Business Systems Support Services Team.
Responsibilities- Provide Level 3 expertise for Air Mobility Command (AMC) C2 and Business systems.
- Process weekly scans and generate reports of current system vulnerabilities and provide updates through briefings or posting of information, e.g., SharePoint site.
- Utilize Assured Compliance Assessment Scans (ACAS) scans provided by base enclaves to identify vulnerabilities and create remediation actions for Windows Server to be deployed manually or via automation (Windows Power Shell).
- Use Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) documentation to assist with system patching using various tools.
- Create weekly remediation media disc for distribution across enclave environment.
- Perform routine and advanced system maintenance.
- Create and manage user accounts and associated group memberships.
- Create and maintain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates for organizational email accounts.
- Build and maintain baseline system image for servers managed by AMC/A4.
- B.A. with 5-10 years of experience with server management OR No degree and 10-15 years of experience with server management. 2-5 years experience supporting Windows Server OR 5+ years' experience supporting Windows operating systems involving automation (Batch/Power Shell) preferred.
- Experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, IIS Server.
- Experience with Active Directory and group policies.
- Experience with information assurance.
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE) or equivalent IAW DoD 8140 requirements.
- Operating Systems (OS) Certification (Windows 11 OS, etc.).
- Ability to manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.
- Ability to administer highly reliable systems solutions for delivering required business capabilities.
- Ability to utilize available tools and resources to resolve issues.
- Ability to clearly communicate and/or explain technical information to a broad range of personnel with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic computer hardware/software installations and issues, including Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 operating systems.
- Proficiency using and troubleshooting Microsoft Server issues.
- Detail oriented with proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of systems administration processes and hardware and software components.
- Knowledge and understanding of the tools, concepts, practices and procedures of security incident management, threat intelligence and continuous monitoring.
- Knowledgeable of hardware and software capabilities and limitations supporting the functional system.
- 20% (Expected).

Salary: $78,000 - $81,000 per year.
