As a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/APPSW) at the NH-2210-4 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Synchronizes program-management and security-engineering activities with USTRANSCOM transformation priorities, including cloud migration, Dev Sec Ops maturation, and TCODE Software Factory implementation. Identifies integration gaps, cybersecurity risks, technical dependencies, and decision points that affect software delivery and mission readiness.
Serves as the cybersecurity lead and Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for the PEO-T software factory and Dev Sec Ops environment. Directs cybersecurity governance, risk-management activities, authorization requirements, continuous-monitoring practices, and vulnerability remediation. Coordinates with USTRANSCOM J6 to integrate Trust Team functions, Security Operations Center (SOC) processes, and the Certificate-to-Field process into the software-factory lifecycle.
Serves as the division's super/artificial intelligence (S/AI) subject matter expert. Identifies, evaluates, and introduces S/AI tools that eliminate manual processes and procedures, improve technical decision-making, and advance division priorities. Designs, develops, sustains, and refines S/AI agents for technical leads, ISSMs, and product owners.
Integrates S/AI capabilities into daily workflows to reduce repetitive tasking, accelerate analysis, strengthen knowledge management, and improve delivery of technical products. Builds workforce capability through technical leadership, coaching, and knowledge transfer.
Provides guidance, shares specialized expertise, and assigns developmental work that broadens employee experience across cybersecurity, Dev Sec Ops , cloud migration, software delivery, and S/AI integration to meet organizational requirements.
