Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Shiloh
Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh are seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. This role offers a range of benefits and opportunities under the BJC RN Career Ladder. Pay range is $30.00/hr - $47.28/hr and may include up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus, depending on experience and qualifications.
OverviewMemorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh provide emergency and acute care services, with Magnet-recognized nursing excellence and a focus on professional development and patient-centered care. The Emergency Department handles a broad spectrum of emergencies, with transfers to specialty facilities as needed.
Responsibilities- Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post-treatment home care needs and medication administration.
- Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Engages in professional development.
- Develops, implements, and documents individual care plans with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family, and communicates the plan across the continuum of care.
- Assesses and evaluates physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Considers patient preferences, values, and spiritual and cultural needs.
- Works in a safety-sensitive role; maintains alertness and safe practices as an essential function of the job.

Relevant nursing experience in emergency or acute care settings
