Emergency Department Clinical Nurse - Evenings

Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
• Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, as well as ongoing professional development.
• Contributes to a healing environment by educating patients and families on care management and safety protocols.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Valid RN license.
• Experience:
  
  No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
• Skills:
  
  Critical nursing skills, effective communication, teamwork, and safety awareness.

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices. The role involves managing a broad spectrum of emergencies, including trauma and critical care, and collaborating with specialized hospitals for transfers.
