Provides direct patient care in a Med Surg Cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; RN license required.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 2 years of experience.
• Experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry is advantageous.
