Business Development Manager (MSP & Cyber Security)

The Role:

Are You a True Hunter?

We aren't looking for an Account Manager. We are looking for a relentless Business Development Manager who thrives on the thrill of the hunt. If you have a track record of breaking into new accounts within the IT Managed Services (MSP) or Cyber Security sectors, we want to talk to you.

You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. You’ll be selling and responsible for identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities in the IT sector. You’ll also be working with reoccurring sales to achieve the company’s strategic goals selling to mid-market and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Proactive Prospecting:
Be a master "door opener" using tools such as calling, Linked In networking, and innovative outreach strategies.

* Pipeline Management:
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline from scratch.

* Consultative Selling:
Understand complex technical pain points and articulate how our solutions provide ROI and security.

* Closing:
Navigate multi-stage sales cycles and negotiate contracts to a successful close.

* Market Intelligence:
Stay ahead of the curve on cyber threats and MSP trends to position yourself as a trusted advisor.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in New Business Sales within the IT sector (Cyber Security or MSP background is essential).

* Hunter Mentality:
You possess the resilience and drive to handle rejection and the persistence to get past gatekeepers.

* Track Record: A demonstrable history of hitting and exceeding sales targets (overachievers welcome!).

* Communication:
Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills. You should be as comfortable on a Zoom demo as you are in a boardroom.

* Tech Savvy: A solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, or the current cyber threat landscape.
