Digital Trading Assistant - Placement

Job Description

We are looking for a Digital Trading Assistant to join us on a Placement Year starting Summer 2026 for 12 months.

• Work within the Digital Trading Team to drive sales through workflow management of campaigns and promotions.
• Report on digital trade highlighting key information.
• Analyse best‑sellers and stock levels to optimise online sales.
• Produce insight information for internal and external discussions.
• Prioritise workflow in reaction to communications of upcoming campaigns and promotions.
• Ensure products have the required content to launch online and resolve any issues to optimise sales.
• Support delivery of seasonal promotions and campaign edits in line with the company trading calendar.
• Optimise customer experience during daily site walks and data analysis.
• Maintain internal relationships and ensure understanding of seasonal priorities and launches.
• Participate in projects or carry out duties outside the standard remit that benefit the company.
• Manage key internal and external stakeholders, utilising appropriate communication methods.
• Be an active and positive contributor to the team, representing the digital trading team and going the extra mile.

• Currently completing a Degree and able to complete this year as part of a sandwich year.
• Analytical skills, enjoys working with data, and able to spot trends and make decisions from datasets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple teams.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to plan and organise own workload.
• Preferable Excel skills.
• Able to be based at our Shirebrook HQ.
