Responsibilities- Support HR Business Partners with proactive generalist employee relations work.
- Provide efficient guidance to employees on company policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Create a positive employee relations approach, coaching managers to fulfil people management duties.
- Deliver operational support on employee relations matters: disciplinary, grievance, appeals.
- Assist with redundancy consultation processes and TUPE when required.
- Proactively manage absence, resolve problematic cases and long‑term sickness, analyse KPI trends, and propose preventive measures.
- Manage an allocated employee‑relations caseload.
- Support departments through organisational change and embed new structures and processes.
- Maintain up‑to‑date employment legislation knowledge to provide sound guidance.
- Collaborate with management to drive performance on key people metrics.
- Proven track record in a similar ER/HR role.
- Experience handling ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, appeals, absence management and redundancy.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment legislation, including GDPR.
- High discretion and confidentiality.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to manage and prioritise a busy, varied workload.

Our Recruitment Team reviews all applications and provides a response. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a first‑stage behavioural interview focused on culture and values.
