07.15am until 16.00pm Friday 07.15am until 15.00pm
We're looking for a meticulous and proactive hands‑on Welding Quality Inspector to ensure that all products, processes, and workmanship meet internal standards and customer expectations. This role plays a key part in inspection, documentation, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities- Perform in‑process and final inspections on products, components, and assemblies
- Confirm compliance with drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards
- Identify, record, and report non‑conformances, escalating issues when necessary
- Support root‑cause investigations and contribute to corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain accurate inspection records and all associated quality documentation
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Assist with internal audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Carry out some welding and grinding activities where required
- Provide guidance, support, and training to new team members
- Previous experience as a Welding Quality Inspector
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Solid understanding of MIG welding processes
- Knowledge of welding practices on materials up to 40mm thick on mild steel
- PCN Level 2 or CSWIP 3.1 welding inspection knowledge or qualification (Visual, Dye Pen ideally)
- Familiarity with inspection methods and quality assurance tools
- Competent in using measurement equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges
- Practical, hands‑on approach with a willingness to get involved on the shop floor
