Give and Go Prepared Foods Corp. is a proud member of the Mondelēz family and a leading North American manufacturer of baked goods. We are looking for a Product Developer who will work with our Innovation & Marketing teams to conceptualize products and commission new production lines, as well as develop and enhance products to meet customer expectations.

The Product Developer will collaborate with the Innovation & Marketing team to develop new products and manage production lines from concept through commercialization.

• Perform shelf‑life testing, attend tastings, collate data, and advise on next steps.
• Formulate, scale, bake, and package laboratory and customer samples, maintaining TVC & PDS records and accurate costing.
• Own product development for a production line and two product categories, directing plant trials, FRPs, and pre‑trial meetings, and keeping detailed records of outcomes.
• Record accurate formula data, translate test kitchen samples to plant floor, and ensure recipes are scaled to ingredient pack sizes.
• Develop new product innovations and line extensions through to commercialization, coordinating with suppliers and Tech Services.
• Assist Product Developers and Tech Services as needed and manage purchase orders for plant trial ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with SQF and HACCP policies and troubleshoot product issues.
• Schedule regular meetings to discuss new product ideas and address issues.

• Completion of a college/university diploma in Food Science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Developer Assistant or Coordinator.
• Chefs or Bakers Red‑Seal certificate, Master Baker or Pâtissier.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate, and follow up.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
