Role summary

We are recruiting a Pastoral Support Tutor to provide pastoral and academic support to full‑time learners on a one‑to‑one and group basis, including weekly tutorial sessions. The role focuses on motivating students to achieve their full potential and ensuring a fulfilling experience at college.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver pastoral and academic support to individual learners and groups.
  • Conduct weekly tutorial sessions as part of the tutorial programme.
  • Set targets with students and monitor progress to tight deadlines.
  • Manage time efficiently and organise work to meet student needs.
  • Understand and address the support needs of each learner.
Qualifications
  • Experience supporting students in an educational setting.
  • Strong motivation and proactive approach to student development.
  • Proven ability to set targets, work to deadlines and manage time and organisation effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
