Psychology Graduate - SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Full-Time | Primary Education | Aspire People

Aspire People are currently recruiting Psychology Graduates who are looking to gain valuable experience working with children and young people within a primary school environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who have studied Psychology and want to apply their understanding of child development, behaviour, communication, and emotional wellbeing in a practical setting.

The role is particularly suited to those interested in a future career within education, SEND, educational psychology, counselling, youth work, or progression towards roles such as SENCO.

the Role:
  • Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
  • Helping children develop confidence, independence, and emotional regulation
  • Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, communication needs, and behavioural challenges
  • Assisting with classroom activities and interventions
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support teams
  • Building positive relationships with pupils
