Complex Care Assistant:
Role & Responsibilities

Join us as a
Complex Care Assistant and develop your skills with full training and ongoing clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, catheter care, moving and handling equipment, and medication administration. In this role, you’ll provide overnight support to a young child with complex care needs, including autism, learning disabilities and ADHD, with key responsibilities focused on monitoring their tracheostomy, managing PEG feeds and administering medication.

Complex Care Assistant Job:
Skills & Requirements

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is not essential, but experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:

• PEG feeding
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment.
• Challenging Behaviours (Autism & LD)
