Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with a current forklift licence looking for a secure, long-term opportunity with a company that values its people?

Placrs client is a growing and well-established business based in Shoreham, is looking for a reliable, motivated and hands-on Warehouse Operative to join their busy team.

The Role

* Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.

* Load and unload deliveries safely.

* Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and confidently.

* Move and store stock in the correct warehouse locations.

* Prepare completed orders for courier collection.

* Attach shipping labels and ensure orders are correctly despatched.

* Use the Warehouse Management System to maintain accurate stock records.

* Carry out manual handling and general warehouse duties.

* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

* Work closely with colleagues to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and enjoys being part of a team.

You will ideally have:

* A current counterbalance forklift licence – desirable.

* Previous warehouse experience.

* A full UK driving licence.

* Good attention to detail and an accurate approach to your work.

* Confidence reading delivery notes and handling stock.

* Basic computer skills and the ability to use warehouse systems.

* A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.

* Good communication skills.

* The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player.

* The physical ability to carry out manual handling, lifting and warehouse duties.
