Overview

PHARMACY/CERTIFIED TECH role at Kroger Mountain View Foods. Provide exceptional customer service, health and wellness services as allowed by state and federal laws, and uphold company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

• Support company health and wellness initiatives
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain current national and/or state registration, certification, or license as required
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist’s professional judgment
• Provide stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing steps
• Support coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians
• Compound medications according to state and other regulations
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information against computer records
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings in accordance with state, federal law and company policies
• Provide additional health and wellness services as allowed by state and regulatory bodies
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and programs; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations and report illegal activity as required
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure

• Any previous comparable experience
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician
