Overview

Retail Store Manager to join our Team. Compensation: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour plus a lucrative monthly bonus based on store performance. Earned wage access and commission opportunities are also available.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations, leading and developing store employees, recruiting top talent, and maximizing financial goals while maintaining customer relations and satisfaction. The role requires analyzing financial statements and adjusting strategies to meet goals. The Store Manager protects assets and manages inventory, loans, and store operations, promoting a customer-centric environment and applying company values.

The Store Manager will promote the business using internal and external marketing tools and may work with jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. This position offers a competitive wage plus a performance-based bonus, with actual pay determined by location, qualifications, and experience. Reports to the District Manager.

Responsibilities

This is a representative list; other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Foster a customer-centric environment; address customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through company channels.
  • Open/close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and protect assets.
  • Protect assets via inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
  • Administer processes for inventory, loan management, merchandising, store systems, and reporting.
  • Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
  • Ensure operating standards meet First Cash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity.
  • Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
  • Communicate clearly to ensure store mission and profit objectives are understood.
  • Maintain product knowledge; perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must be willing/able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise others; firearms certification and handling ability for positions involving firearms.
  • Minimum Age 18;
    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Store Managers will work 45+ hours per week; hours vary by business needs.
  • Computer-literate; able to operate POS systems and office machines.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Cash handling experience required; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Commission Plan

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Store Managers receive a commission based on store monthly gross profit. Additional details are provided during the interview process.
