- Repair and overhaul automobiles, vans, trucks, and other automotive vehicles in accordance with Dealership and factory standards.
- Remove, disassemble, inspect, repair and replace units such as engines, transmissions and differentials as required.
- Realign and adjust brakes, align front ends, and repair or replace shock absorbers.
- Examine and diagnose the cause of any malfunction on vehicle and discuss with customer, service advisor, or service manager/director the nature and extent of damage or malfunction.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts.
- Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Communicate with service advisor if additional work is necessary.
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Road test vehicles as necessary before and/or after repair.
- Properly utilize all personal protective equipment.
- Attend required meetings and training.
- Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time in the sole discretion of management.
- Ford Certifications a plus!!!
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Dealership Experience Preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- ASE certification is preferred
- General mechanical skills
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre‑employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
