  • Review purchase orders, project specifications, approved quotations, and contract documents to verify project scope, pricing, and deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain project schedules, tracking submittal approvals, material requirements, manufacturing progress, and delivery dates.
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality control, and shipping to ensure projects progress according to schedule.
  • Monitor project status and proactively identify potential delays, material shortages, and other issues that could affect delivery.
  • Communicate project milestones, schedule updates, and potential delays to customers.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including correspondence, submittals, approvals, revisions, and schedule updates.
2. Estimating and Material Takeoffs
  • Review project specifications, construction drawings, piping plans, details, and bills of materials to determine project requirements.
  • Interpret technical specifications and identify required piping materials, fittings, insulation, jackets, containment components, accessories, and other system components as applicable.
  • Prepare accurate and complete material takeoffs for estimating, quotation, and project execution.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information, conflicting specifications, and potential scope gaps in project documents.
  • Coordinate with sales and engineering to clarify technical requirements and resolve estimating questions.
  • Identify potential design challenges, material availability concerns, and other issues that may affect project cost or schedule.
  • Ensure estimates and material requirements accurately reflect the customer's specifications and project scope.
Requirements Qualifications
  • Experience in project management, estimating, or a similar role within the piping, mechanical, construction, manufacturing, or industrial equipment industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, piping plans, technical specifications, and engineering details.

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with pre-insulated piping systems, specialty piping, mechanical systems, or industrial piping products.
  • Familiarity with piping materials, fittings, insulation systems, containment piping, and related accessories.
  • Experience managing projects from purchase order through manufacturing and shipment.
  • Experience preparing technical submittals and coordinating customer approval processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD drawings, construction documents, and engineering revisions.
