The Sponsorship Manager is a vital part of the Global Partnerships team, representing it off and on‑site at various FELD events. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships internally and externally, with a dotted‑line reporting relationship to the Global Partnership Senior Account Manager.
Essential Functions- Keep an open line of communication with the assigned Monster Jam Operations Tour Manager, Global Partnership Senior Account Manager, and Director of Operations to relay all details needed to successfully implement and execute partner activations at events.
- Maintain control over all GP partner activation communication by attending various meetings throughout each week leading up to each event.
- Manage local crews, loading, unloading, assembling, and disassembling all activation equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Act as the main point of contact on‑site for partners; meet partners at registration, bring them to their activation, provide instruction, etc.
- Manage Brand Ambassadors on‑site for activations, as necessary.
- Assist in the overall pit party layout for arena events, working in tandem with the Tour Manager to ensure both event and partnership needs are set.
- Ensure the safety of all staff and guests, keeping the activation area clear of all hazards.
- Maintain GP activation & asset inventory and communicate when items need to be reordered or refurbished.
- Assist with maintaining labor, equipment, and BA orders for sponsorship partners activating on‑site.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism towards sponsorship partners and venue staff.
- Assist with half‑time driver visits, post‑event meet & greet, and tours/backstage tours as needed or requested by Tour Manager.
- Track various activation or promotional material shipments from the Global Partnership team to the venue.
- Attend Monster Jam truck displays prior to event day, ensuring sponsor satisfaction and smooth operation of the display.
- Follow rules, regulations and guidelines set forth by Feld Entertainment, Inc. and employ best practices as they pertain to the event.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of motorsports processes and equipment.
- Live event experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel 30 weeks per year.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift; may require the use of a ladder.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Availability to work extended hours, holidays, and weekends per business demands.
- Must be dedicated, reliable, and punctual.
- Demonstrate positive and professional behavior towards clients and co‑workers at all times.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and be a team player.
