As a Full-Time Application Support Analyst I at Cellular One, you will proactively ensure the stability, availability, performance, and reliability of our core applications and systems, including Postpaid, Prepaid, Messaging, and more. Your knowledge will play a critical role in maintaining effective front-end and back-end functionality. You'll tackle operational issues head-on, working to provide solutions and participating in application upgrades by coordinating testing efforts across departments.

You'll also assist in assessing project feasibility and implementation, creating test plans for new features, and documenting essential processes. Collaboration will be key, as you'll partner with internal teams and 3rd party vendors to resolve tickets and support upgrades. This role requires a commitment to providing 24x7 support, including on-call shifts and planned maintenance, ensuring Cellular One systems remain robust and efficient, while enhancing the user experience for our customers.

What you need to be successful

To excel as a Full-Time Application Support Analyst I at Cellular One, you'll need a robust set of skills and a strong technical foundation. Proficiency in basic computer programs like Outlook, Word, and Excel is essential for daily operations. Experience in supporting various systems and applications is crucial, as you'll monitor system stability and respond to alarms and memory issues. Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Unix, and Linux will empower you to troubleshoot effectively.

While database or SQL experience is beneficial, what truly sets a candidate apart is an understanding of system and scripting languages like Java, HTML, XML, and JSON. Your analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities will be invaluable as you work collaboratively with teams, ensuring our telecommunications applications run smoothly and efficiently. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Basic computer programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience working in and supporting systems and applications
  • Experience with system monitoring (such as alarms, space and memory monitoring)
  • Operating System knowledge (such as Windows, Unix and Linux)
  • Database or SQL experience (a plus but not required)
  • System and scripting language knowledge (such as Java, HTML, XML and JSON)
