American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Special Newborn Nursery position requiring NRP certification and Level II SCN/NICU experience.

• Acute care Level 3 trauma facility, Special Newborn Nursery (Level II SCN) unit
• 8 Level II SCN beds supporting approximately 800 births per year
• 24/7 NNP and Neonatology availability
• Uses Allscripts EMR
• 12-hour night shifts, shift times  and
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Up to 3 shift cancellations allowed per 13-week assignment

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• 2+ years of RN experience required
• 2+ years of Level II SCN/NICU experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• STABLE certification required
• BSN not required

• Provide nursing care to newborns in a Level II Special Care Nursery setting
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Collaborate with 24/7 available Neonatologists and NNPs
