RN – NICU (Registered Nurse)

Show Low, AZ | NICU / Special Care Nursery

Contract | Days | Shift Times: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• Provide direct nursing care to newborns in a Level II Special Care Nursery (SCN) setting
• Monitor and assess neonatal patients, responding to changes in condition in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with NNP and Neonatology teams, available 24/7, to coordinate patient care
• Adhere to evidence-based protocols and safety standards specific to neonatal nursing
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

• Active RN license (must meet state requirements for Arizona)
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification required
• NICU Level II experience required

• 2 or more years of SCN or NICU nursing experience
• Familiarity with Level II Special Care Nursery workflows and patient populations
• Experience in a unit managing approximately 800 births per year

• Work in a well-supported neonatal unit with 24/7 NNP and Neonatology availability
• Gain experience in a focused Level II SCN environment with an 8-bed unit
