Construction Materials Testing Technician - Shreveport

Ardaman has the following opportunity available in Shreveport, Louisiana:

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING TECHNICIAN

Full-time entry level position performing sampling/testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt materials on construction projects throughout our North Louisiana / East Texas service area. Typical duties require 80 to 90 percent of time be spent performing tasks at field locations. Will train.

Qualifications:

Candidate must be currently authorized to work in the United States and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have good math skills, good organizational skills, a good attitude, and get along well in a team environment and be safety minded in all aspects of his work. Must be willing to work weekends and extended hours as required to meet project schedules;

be able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. and have a safe driving record. Individual should be physically fit and able to spend extended hours working outdoors in a wide range of climate conditions. LaDOTD experience a plus. Local candidates preferred; no relocation.
