Life Insurance New Business Service Representative (Job Requisition 92777)
Location: Hybrid – 4 days per week, 1 day from home
Role OverviewOur local General Office seeks a Service Representative to support insurance agents, clients, and the management team. The role involves managing insurance policy applications through the new‑business process and addressing questions and service requests from agents.
What You’ll Do- Provide excellent day‑to‑day customer service to agents, clients, and Field Management via in‑person, phone, or electronic communication.
- Coordinate underwriting requirements by interacting with agents, clients, outside medical vendors, and underwriters.
- Assist with the workflow of applications for life products, annuities, contract changes, policy billing, and initial and downstream accounting entries related to the new‑business process.
- Answer incoming calls and greet customers and potential agent candidates.
- 2+ years of customer service and administrative experience.
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of related experience.
Training & DevelopmentOn‑the‑job training covering the insurance industry, product and policy provisions, and transaction processing. Coaching and feedback support skill development.
Shift InformationFull‑time, Monday through Friday. Flexible to work any 7.5‑hour shift between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM during the work week.
SalaryCompetitive base salary. Overtime eligible plus target bonus. Salary Range: $40,000‑$43,000.
