Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time Gastroenterologist Physician. Highlights/Requirements

• Starting base salary: $375,000 to - $400,000 per year
• Daily schedule:
  Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m.
  
  - 4:30 p.m.
• Supervise, mentor, and teach graduates including GI fellows and residents.
• Responsible for management of diagnostic, preventative, and/or therapeutic gastroenterological and endoscopic services.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy, including: bleeding control, polypectomy, EMR, PEGS and dilation.
• Work closely with all health professionals throughout the medical center and provide consultation to other services.
• Possess basic endoscopic skills and have a background and interest in clinical/research participation.
• Current, Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Preferred:
  The Gastroenterologist (GI) provider will be expected to be proficient in all basic GI endoscopy procedures including EGD and colonoscopy.
