As a Curriculum Resource Teacher, you will provide curriculum training and support to teachers and assist with curriculum implementation as directed by school leadership, including support prior to the new teacher induction (NTI) week.
You will conduct ongoing staff development, perform periodic classroom visitations, collect and report quarterly student data, and monitor programs.
- Develops and conducts in‑service training for all teachers regarding the curriculum, research‑based instructional strategies, and best practices.
- Provides support to school administration for (New Teacher Induction NTI/Returning Teacher Orientation RTO) approximately one week prior to the start of teacher training and one week post‑end of the school year to support close‑out of end‑year operations, as assigned by administration.
- Performs periodic classroom visitations, assists teachers in improving instructional performance, reviews binders, and monitors improvement.
- Demonstrates lessons in classroom situations for observation by teachers.
- Trains new teachers in the use of the applicable Student Information System (SIS) and school‑based resources and procedures.
- Facilitates grade‑level and/or subject‑area team meetings.
- Serves as a resource to school administrators and content area teachers in identifying reading needs, adapting instructional techniques, and implementing reading strategies across the curriculum.
- Assists with the development of school literacy initiatives.
- Collects, analyzes, and reports school and student benchmark data.
- Initiates and maintains effective liaisons with district and professional associations to maintain current knowledge of reading and instructional best practices.
- Attends monthly CSUSA Curriculum Cadres.

- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Student Information System (SIS), and email communications.
