We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in LAN/WAN technologies, switching fundamentals, basic telephony, and network architecture. This role is field-based and involves installation, integration, and troubleshooting of advanced telecommunication equipment on-site.
What you will be doing as a Field Engineer:
- Install, integrate, and troubleshoot telecom equipment including:
- Ciena 6500
- SAMSUNG RF4439D, RF4440D-13A
- CBRS RT4401, RT8808, MT6413-77A
- Perform on-site diagnostics and repairs for telecommunication systems.
- Support and maintain LAN and WAN infrastructure.
- Update and maintain network and telephony architecture documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and technical support to resolve system issues.
- Accurately document all technical work and support activities.
What we are looking in a Field Engineer:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in field telecommunications or a related technical role.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- LAN/WAN technologies
- Switching fundamentals and telephony systems
- Integration experience with Ericsson and Nokia systems is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of telecom hardware and configurations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
