Technical sales tasks vary daily, spanning design, procurement, coordination, and post‑sale support.
Typical Tasks- Outside sales meetings and calls to build relationships with existing and new customers.
- Application engineering using sound engineering principles.
- Project management of installation schedules.
- Service and technical support of installed equipment.
- Remote troubleshooting of kitchen staff issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide integrated application engineering and design support for ventilation applications.
- Work directly with engineers, contractors, end users, and food service dealers.
- Support inside sales, application engineering, and outside sales activities.
- Deliver presentations, quotes, submittals, product support, and onsite troubleshooting as needed.
- Educate market on Captive Aire products with conference calls, meetings, and demos.
- Research and develop new business opportunities.
- Deliver top‑notch customer service and responsiveness.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and customer experience.
- 2–5 years experience.
- 4‑year technical degree in mechanical, electrical, construction, or science‑oriented curriculum preferred.
- Excellent computer, organizational, and communication/presentation skills.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and passion for continuous learning.
- Strong customer‑interfacing abilities.
- Embrace new technology and business acumen.
- Willing to travel for training and customer visits.
- Expectation of completing the FE Exam within 6 months of employment.

$70k–$100k base, negotiable, with additional monthly bonus based on productivity and profits.
