Senior Advanced R&D Engineer

As a Senior Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving innovation, shaping the company's technical strategy, and contributing to the development of sustainable solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, industry experts, and stakeholders to solve complex challenges and advance the company's mission. You will report directly to our Senior R&D Manager, and you’ll work out of our Shreveport, LA location on an On-site work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical or related discipline)  5+ years of experience in a production or research & development environment WE VALUE Six Sigma training – Black Belt or Master Black Belt Lean manufacturing (5S, Kaizen)
Strong Statistical Analysis Skills Experience in a chemical industrial manufacturing plant preferred

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills preferred

Demonstrated leadership skills

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with a team focus preferred

Analytical and problem-solving abilities
