This position will be located at the Progressive Bank – Fern Avenue location in partnership with b1
BANK. The Commercial Loan Administrator II supports Bankers and the Lending Department in processing loan applications, preparing documentation, and maintaining effective communication with clients and internal/external stakeholders. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and uniformity of all legal and loan documents and minimizing the risk of loss to the Bank. The Commercial Loan Administrator II ensures that all loans are closed and maintained in accordance with state and federal regulations and adhere to Bank policies and guidelines.
Job Functions
- Provide support to Bankers and staff, including updating loan data and assembling proper documentation.
- Serve as an ongoing point of contact for clients.
- Process loan applications, interacting with the client to gather information and signatures.
- Gather information for loan processing such as credit reports, tax filings, business entity searches, lien searches, and title work.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of loan files, including proper documentation, valuations, and other relevant data.
- Assemble and verify accuracy of loan documentation.
- Fund loans and process payments and draws.
- Provide customer service by answering phone and written inquiries regarding loan information.
- Actively refer leads on loans, brokerage, and other services to appropriate specialists.
- Participate and complete Sales, Service, Compliance, and Product training.
- Manage loan closing process from approval to booking.
- Assist in timely obtaining of all required bureaucratic information from clients and review exception reports for elimination. usually
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate degree is preferred.
- 2–4 years of commercial, business, or small‑business loan experience required.
- Intermediate knowledge of loan documentation and operation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.
- Good organization and time‑management skills.
- Understanding of banking products and services.
