Enforcement and Removal Assistant (OA)
These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in multiple locations specified in this announcement.
Salary:
The salary range indicated in this announcement will be adjusted to include locality payment for selected duty location. General Schedule locality pay tables may be found under Salaries & Wages.
- Researching detainee history using multiple sources to establish identity/citizenship and manage detained and non-detained dockets.
- Providing administrative support to managers, supervisors, or staff members by assisting in the day‑to‑day management of the office's activities.
- Summarizing and tabulating detainee information from various reports and utilizing a variety of databases and automated systems.
- Generating and verifying detainee reports, encounters, charging documents, studies, data quality and creating and revising spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and presentations.
- Exercising quality control over bond paperwork.

Minimum Qualifications for GS‑05Specialized
Experience:
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑04 level in the Federal service that included experience such as:
- Performing recordkeeping and reporting.
- Compiling, maintaining, and updating automated records.
- Responding to requests for procedural information.
OR
Education SubstitutionYou must have successfully completed four years of education above high school in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite.
