Counselor in Training (C.I.T.)

Intensive Specialty Hospital is seeking an experienced and passionate Outpatient Counselor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the well‑being and attainment of treatment goals for assigned patients and their families through assessment, treatment planning, case management, discharge planning, and group and individual counseling.

• Conduct assessment and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Provide group and individual counseling sessions.
• Manage case documentation and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with senior counselors and support team leadership.

• Interest in pursuing a career in counseling, psychology, education, or a related field.
• Meet all ADRA requirements and hold a CCS Certified Clinical Supervisor license.
• Basic computer skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

• BLS required.
• Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and Intervention certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment if not already certified.
