We are looking for talented and highly‑motivated individuals who demonstrate a natural desire to support the meaningful work of community oncologists and the patients we serve.

Scope:
Delivery of comprehensive psychosocial services to cancer patients and their families and caregivers.

• Utilize advanced interpersonal skills appropriately and effectively
• Conduct psychosocial assessments
• Facilitate and implement therapeutic interventions
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and effective use of resources
• Actively participate in continuity of care planning
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Supervise students
• Provide patient education

• Master’s degree in social work required
• LMSW license in the state of LA required; LCSW preferred. Licensure must be active and in good standing.
• Counseling experience in oncology or a related field through previous job, internship, or volunteer program.
• OSW‑C encouraged

Salary: $40,000.00 – $42,000.00
