Position: HR Administrative Assistant (Full-time) – Mid-Senior level – Human Resources – Food & Beverage Services.
Location:
Shreveport, LA.
As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Human Resources department by assisting with administrative tasks, maintaining HR systems, and delivering exceptional customer service to employees. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to travel to multiple work sites as needed.
Major Accountabilities- Front desk customer service
- Employee account management
- HR Team support
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing face‑to‑face customer service to employees and managers.
- Perform general office duties, including operating computers, printers, and managing digital filing systems.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems (Paycom preferred; experience with Workday, People Soft, or similar systems is a plus).
- Prepare and process HR documentation, reports, and correspondence.
- Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and scheduling.
- Support HR team with compliance, audits, and data accuracy.
- Travel to multiple work sites and stores to provide HR support as needed.
- Education:
Associate degree or certification in business management or human resources preferred;
High school diploma required. - 3–5 years of office, clerical, or HR experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3–5 years of face‑to‑face customer service required.
- HRIS system experience (2 years):
Paycom preference;
Workday, People Soft, etc. - Office experience with in‑person customers, computers, scanners and digital filing systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Travel:
Ability to travel domestically up to 30% of the time. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Work schedule:
Tuesday–Saturday 8 AM–5 PM;
Training Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM.
- Work primarily in the HR office with extended periods of sitting. Some lifting required for special projects. Must be able to work off‑schedule hours as needed.
- Production floor visits required.
- Must have valid U.S. work authorization.
