Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM]

Shreveport, LA (CONUS). Position type:
Full‑time.

This role supports a U.S. Government training directorate, providing management and oversight of Digital Training Facilities (DTFs) located on Army installations and Reserve sites worldwide. The DTFM schedules and manages DTF use, offers hands‑on assistance, performs equipment operation and maintenance, and reports status to leadership.

• Support oversight of student scheduling, supervision, and training.
• Coordinate facility maintenance and interact with Enterprise Management System (EMS) technicians.
• Adhere to EMS direction to replace monitors, desktops, servers, and verify operation of hardware and software.
• Maintain facility security, operating equipment, and assist students with assets.
• Monitor and report condition and inventory of IT hardware, desks, chairs, and other furniture.
• Partner with stakeholders to create secure lab environments.
• Operate equipment and perform hands‑on operations on site.
• Provide metrics and reports to management and stakeholder staff.
• Provide server and application support and maintenance.
• Report operational status of the DTF(s) to the appropriate chain of command and Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL‑POC).
• Schedule DTF use and provide hands‑on assistance to ATIS/EMS staff.
• Schedule training in DTFs in coordination with Soldiers and the DL‑POC.

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in IT support or IT management (required).
• Experience analyzing and evaluating trainees, forecasting requirements, screening information, determining eligibility, and providing solutions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for coordinating and scheduling training sessions and preparing clear reports and presentations.

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in computer science, information systems, information technology, computer engineering, or related field).
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance up to Top Secret or Q (NACI).
• Must be able to submit to and qualify for background investigative requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and Adobe applications.

• Familiarity with emerging technologies.
• Strong computer hardware and software skills (Microsoft server, Windows desktop, printing management).
• Project and process management including definition, monitoring, and reporting.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective oral and written communication, including technical writing.
• Teamwork, leadership, business acumen, motivation, agility, judgment, and organization.
